Kappa Delta Pi At Winona State University

Kappa Delta Pi is an International Honor Society in Education for practicing and pre-service teachers. KDP's goal is to sustain an honored community of diverse educators by promoting excellence and advancing scholarship, leadership, and service. KDP was founded by William Bagley, Truman Kelly, and Thomas Edgar Musselman in 1911 at the University of Illinois to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. The founders chose the name from the Greek words knowledge, duty, and power.
Our members have been admitted to the education program here at Winona State University and excel academically. We dedicate time to serve the community that surrounds us through volunteering and other various activities.
